ACC Mentor Coaching

As an ACC-certified coach who has renewed my credential, I can offer coaches pursuing their ACC (or ACC recertification) flexible, responsive, and effective mentor coaching so you can meet the requirements of the ICF to receive ACC certification. Per ICF rules, you must complete 10 hours of mentor coaching over 3 months in order to apply for your ICF ACC certification. I am able to offer flexible scheduling, an open and malleable approach specifically tailored to your needs, and package pricing for mentor coaching; please contact me for details.

My approach to mentor coaching is based on my own real-life experiences coaching high-level executives in small, medium and large organizations. I am probably not a great choice for a mentee coach who plans to offer life, fitness/health, or other non-work-focused coaching, as in my own coaching practice I only offer outcomes-focused leadership coaching to executives and leaders. That coaching is specifically targeted to help them succeed in the real-world environments they have to navigate. I concentrate on offering practical, actionable coaching that will help them with their career challenges, and work with them to set (and achieve) goals that will help them in their career and work life.

I do not offer group mentor coaching - only 1-on-1 meetings - as I feel like the best way to help you grow in your coaching practice is for you to receive the same kind of 1-on-1 attention and support I received from my mentor coaches when I was pursuing certification (and re-certification). I also believe in offering the kind of mentor coaching that will help you the most - the goal is to get you certified (or re-certified)!

Part of what we will focus on in mentor coaching will be helping you learn the kinds of techniques and skills you will need to pass the ICF’s recorded coaching session performance evaluation - a critical part of the application process that can seem daunting, and should be taken seriously, but is not an insurmountable obstacle! I can include review and evaluation of your draft recordings with your package of coaching sessions; please inquire about this when you contact me.
